We are a little over halfway through this season of the /r/movies Fantasy Movie League! Be sure to set your lineups before Friday morning! How's your season going?

Quite a season so far. I myself have managed to fall into the 100th place area early on by making a few terrible decisions and have been spending the last couple of weeks playing catch up. Mike and Dave over performed for me this weekend but it just wasn't enough to match how much Life of Pets over performed. Between that and the Finding Dory opening I'm starting to think there's something about summer children's releases that can't be denied. Lucky for me I didn't play either opening weekend because I'm just the worst.

Where did you shoot ahead or fall behind? We are only a little over halfway through the season so anything that's been done can still be undone! The big question this week is... To Ghostbust or not to Ghostbust? The fact is that it's a little cheaper to play than most big releases and could potentially do better than projected coming off luke warm reviews. So this weekend, who you gonna play?

It's a fantasy game in which everyone gets the same amount of money to spend on their lineup of real movies in theaters every week and competitive collect on the box office take. It's fun and sometimes oddly unpredictable! You'll be behind for the rest of this season but you can always get some early practice for next season.
