Im managing the sound of a movie instead of enjoying it :(

Is anyone else annoyed by managing the sound of a movie instead of enjoying it??

Im watching the movie Cowboys vs Aliens, and its a welcome genre of a movie, its almost fun really but the worst part is the sound...

I think its all over the place the voices are mumbling like a Western movie tends to but it sounds unusually low and the Michael Bay portions are super loud
