What's the most effective use of tonal shift you've seen in a film

For me, there are two stand out scenes:

Children of men: [spoiler] the car scene. It starts off so playful with the banter and the ping pong ball. You don't see the car on fire coming but it's so effective in changing the stakes and the tone and you're immediately on the edge of your seat

50/50: more subtle but still heart clenching. When Adam is walking through the hospital halls high and happy and his facial expression begins to slowly drop the more sick people he passes, whilst happy music still plays in the background. IMO it really cements for viewer the realisation that he might not make it.
