The Goofy Movie maybe one of the best movies about a father and son

Despite the slapstick humor and some of the random moments, I honestly feel that The Goofy Movie is one of the best depicitions of a Father worried about losing his son. We rarely see this dynamic in movies done so well. They do exist but it is so over the top. This movie actually shows Goofy's entire range of emotions: from worry, concern, anger, irritation, and longing for the younger days.

And what is best is that Max is not always shown as this angsty teen. We see him remembering the good times, the embarrassing moments, and go through the all too familiar uncomfortably that comes with trying to be open and honest to your parents.

I really feel that we see very few movies tackle a father son relationship as well as the Goofy Movie did.
