The Nightmare on Elm Street series is on Hulu for the time being

... Which got me thinking: I was in junior high and high school at the time. These movies were rated R, kids under 17/18 not permitted, and yet they very clearly target high schoolers in the same way and to the same effect that candy flavored tobacco and fruity wine coolers target underage kids. It's a really interesting strategy, I have to say that I found my way somehow into the first three films, after that I was old enough to buy tickets legit.
