Why is "Solo: A Star Wars Story" not doing well at the box office?

It has mostly good reviews, 70% on rotten tomatoes, and it's CinemaScore is A- which suggests that people who see it tend to like it. It should also have the appeal due to being about a memorable character from a very popular franchise. So what happened? Was it just badly marketed or are people just not interested in it? I haven't yet seen it but I probably intend to soon.
