Jóhann Jóhannsson apparently died due to a cocaine overdose while taking prescription medication

Just read this and, after his cause of death being unreported for months, it seems it was due to a cocaine overdose. Just recently watched Soldado and loved the use of his Prisoners score throughout the film and the use of 'The Beast' at the end, a rather touching memory to him in my opinion. Excited to hear his score for Mandy, and, again, it's sad that he was taken so soon from the world.

EDIT: I have made only poor attempts at translating the original site - does anybody speak German (I think that's the language it's in), it seems to me like it may have been self-inflicted?

EDIT: So apparently he killed himself by overdosing on cocaine?
