How did Suicide Squad become so successful that it needed to be rebooted?
I just can't wrap my head around this.
It made $750million at the box office. It made another $100million from VOD/BR/streaming. It won an Oscar (hair and makeup). Not to mention the soundtrack and merchandise sales.
I know it wasn't a good movie. It was objectively bad. But a lot of big successful movies aren't so good. I'm STOKED they are rebooting it with Gunn, while simultaneously just totally blown away that sequel plans for a movie that probably pulled in close to a billion dollars in total sales are scrapped.
