What is a movie where a main or supporting character dies in a very unceremonious way?

In most war or action movies dozens or thousands of nameless drones get cut down and no one really cares about them. But when a main character dies the sad music plays and all of the other characters mourn their death.

Is there a movie where a main character just sort of dies in battle or whatever and no one really reacts that much and the movie doesn't dwell on it?
