Pixar should have John Ratzenberger star is his own movie at some point
For those of you who don't know (which is probably very few), John Ratzenberger has a had a speaking role in every single Pixar movie. These roles have ranged from being about half the movie to having only one line.
All of his Pixar parts: Source
- Hamm in the Toy Story movies
- P.T. Flea, the Circus Ring Leader in A Bug's Life
- The Abominable Snowman in Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University
- The school of Moonfish in Finding Nemo
- The Underminer in The Incredibles series
- Mack the truck in the Cars trilogy
- Mustafa the waiter in Ratatouille
- John in WALL-E
- Tom the construction worker in Up
- Gordon the guard in Brave
- Fritz in Inside Out
- Earl the Velociraptor in The Good Dinosaur
- Bill the crab in Finding Dory
- Juan Ortodoncia in Coco
- Fenwick the construction worker in Onward
It's obviously clear that Pixar trusts him to voice act in their movies, so it only make sense that they have him star in a movie where he is the main focus. His voice is also a lot of fun to listen to (at least for me) so it would be pretty entertaining. I don't have any ideas what the premise would be, but I'm thinking it would lean a bit more towards comedy than drama.
I don't know if there is any reason why he hasn't been in his own Pixar flick, but if there is one please let me know.
