Peter Parker could have used his insane sewing skills to earn extra cash since he did an amazing job on his costume. He wouldn't have to be so poor then.

This guy's sewing skills are incredible. Man, if I had skills like that, I'd have at least cashed in on it doing side jobs. Didn't know the spider bite could also give super sewing skills.

Also, commissioned drawings? Did you guys see his sketches? The dude's pretty freaking talented. He could have been freelance king at that point and wouldn't have had to put up with Mr. Aziz and the rent guy.

And as a photojournalist, all he could take pictures of was Spider-man? He could take photos from unique and impossible angles, not to mention sneakily capture juicy stories with his stealth. Dude would've been the most unbeatable photojournalist in NYC and made a ton of cash. Poor Aunt May wouldn't have gone through the house eviction.
