Tiptoes stars Gary Oldman Matthew McConaughey. The film's plot revolves around an average-sized man (McConaughey) who struggles with revealing to his pregnant fiancée (Beckinsale) that his entire family are little people, as he worries that their unborn child child may be born with dwarfism.
A romantic comedy starring Matthew McConaughey with Gary Oldman as a little person is considered one of the worst films ever made. How did such a concept get greenlit as it did and why is it so easily overlooked by audiences? I'm amazed all actors involved were able to come through unscathed though gotta figure it'd be entirely massacred by Twitter were it to be made today.
