Hands up if you internally groan whenever you read/hear "This person DESERVES an Oscar for this"

I'm not saying artists shouldn't be recognized for doing great work, but a small part of me cringes whenever I see someone say something like "This deserves an Oscar!" (or something to that effect). Can't we appreciate a great thing without needing it to be validated by an old dusty award show?

Would love to hear other opinions about this.
