A Men in Black/Ghostbusters crossover would have been awesome.

I know there was that Jump Street rumour a few years back but to me Ghostbusters is the logical movie mash up. Both properties are even owned by Sony!

Think about it. Something seemingly paranormal in nature is causing havoc in New York, so the Ghostbusters begin to investigate only for MIB to intervene claiming it to be extraterrestrial and therefore their jurisdiction. A race to solve the case ensues. The self-made business man vs the slick government agency. Of course your third act twist would be that the enemy is something a long the lines of an alien ghost so our heroes can all band together to save the day.

It's just a shame we'd never get to see those classic casts go head to head. Maybe this new Ghostbusters films turns out well and the MIB franchise actually churns out something at least half as decent as the first one.

.... Then for the sequel you throw Jump Street into the mix.... and after that Spider-man... and they all have to help Kratos fight Peter Rabbit.
