Anyone remember the movie Powder (1995)?

This movie was recommended to me by a coworker who said he watched it when it first came out and remembers it being good at the time. Noticed that there were pretty mixed reviews on it and want to know if anyone in the sub has watched and had any strong opinions on it either way? Is it worth spending my time watching or is it skippable?
