Wizard of Oz (1939) theory. Every main character in Oz was from Dorothy’s life...but what about Glinda?

Wouldn’t Auntie Em have made sense to represent the good witch? This leads me to believe that Glinda’s likeness is supposed to be Dorothy’s mother who had passed away. It makes sense as she is looking out for Dorothy throughout her journey and ultimately gives her the encouragement to return home. And go back to the living.
