The worst thing about Lion King (2019) is Beyonce

Sitting in a packed theatre, children crying at the top of their lungs people using their phones and talking loudly, opening a bag of chips, kids roaming freely and the worst part of that day was Beyonce's voice. Wrong casting of young Simba and adult Nala you all can defend however you want to defend them but you can't deny the age difference felt in the voices. I wasn't aware of young Simba being voiced by a teenager before screening but i found through the voice. But still Beyonce's was notably the most aged, it didn't feel like adult but an old woman. It felt odd and wasn't even in character. And the unnecessary notes in the songs and how it was trying to overcome the rest of the characters. It felt like Nala's voice actor would come out of the screen and would dominate the whole movie and make it about herself. I don't understand americans obsession with Beyonce but it was unnecessary for this movie.
