It’s that time of year. Netflix US has conveniently made Adams Family Values available for our Thanksgiving viewing pleasure, and we get to delight again in the magic of the Thanksgiving play.

And tiny David Krumholtz.

And Christine Baranski.

And Joan fucking Cusack.

MALIBU. BARBIE.

There is not a funnier comedic villain anywhere in the 90s. I’ll put Joan Cusack in this movie up against any comedy villain performance from that era, no matter the scene in question. She steals every one! Tough to do when your scene partners are Christopher Lloyd and Angelica Huston!

I hope you Americans enjoy your lovely holidays, and let’s all give thanks for this timeless gift of a movie.
