Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion is unironically a brilliant film.

I've seen people dismiss it as a "chick flick", and to an extent it is one, but it's also a highly self aware parody, satire, and homage to chick flicks that borders on delicious camp. It's really smartly done, well written, and acted exactly as it should be. That character reveal near the end that I won't spoil for those who haven't seen it, was just magnificent, and the ending.

I really feel like it doesn't get the credit it deserves because it gets unfairly labeled a dumb "chick flick", when it's far from dumb and so so much more than it initially seems.
