What's a movie quote that is constantly referenced but where most people forgot or never knew the actual movie?

Thought about this after a friend quoted the famous "goes to 11" from This Is Spinal Tap, but didn't even know it was from a movie. Maybe it's because Spinal Tap isn't really known in my country, but I thought it was weird.
