What are some disaster movies where EVERYONE in the world dies?

One that I can think of is "Knowing" starring Nic Cage. They discover that a life-ending solar flair is heading towards Earth, and there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. In order to ensure the survival of our species however, higher beings take 2 of us to another suitable planet. Everyone on earth dies. The end.
