Who’s an actor that you remember Hollywood tired to make happen and maybe it didn’t work out?

First name I always think of is Jesse Eisenberg. From like 2009-2014 they consistently casted him. Adventureland, Zombieland, The Social Network, Rio, 30 Minutes or Less, Rio 2, Now You See Me, I mean his agent was killing it. I think they really stopped trying after BvS tbh, but he was always leading in comedies, got nominated for an Academy Award, they really pushed him. And I can see why, he’s a funny guy but he’s like Michael Cera, he’s very limited in what he can do, but he dies have very good range. But now you don’t see as much of him.

Saying Hollywood stopped “trying to make happen” doesn’t mean they don’t work anymore. And yes, Jesse Eisenberg is a great actor, never said he wasn’t
