Post "The Fabelmans" Spielberg movies are a lot of fun to rewatch.

• That beautiful sunset as Indiana Jones is digging for the Ark and the horizon is at the bottom. Horizon shot at the end of Crusade where they're riding off into the sunset.
• The train scene in Close Encounters is similar to the Mom's breakdown in The Fabelmans.
• Kate Capshaw's performance as Willie in Temple of Doom acts like the mom in Fabelmans. Then Spielberg married that actress in real life. Freud says hello.
• Saving Private Ryan is incredible technical feat that's mirroring how Sammy Fabelman made his war movie.
• The divorce in Catch Me if you Can works out in a similar fashion in The Fabelmans. (Mom had an affair then had a divorce.)
• Cate Blanchet playing the bad guy in Kingdom of the crystal Skull has the same hair style as Spielberg's mom. buahaha.

There's probably more, but I'll always look at where the horizon is from now on.
