what happened to Thomas Jane?

was wondering, in the past he had some good movies and great roles, now between 2020 and 2023 he stars in over 10 movies, and they all are rated from mediocre to terrible

i get it, he must be desperate for money, but is there a particular reason besides money for him to be in so many bad movies in this short span of 3 years?

i mean, he is not sick or anything, is he?
