Even now, Pixar's *The Incredibles* succeeds in being both an excellent superhero film and surprisingly prompt social commentary.

Whether it's the draconian laws of Superhero Relocation Act, the unsatisfying atmosphere of living in a world that praises mediocrity and discourages actual drive and success--a world that feels entirely too familiar at times, or the dynamics of family, I find that The Incredibles is one of the more overlooked animated feature films.
