Do Zack Snyder's movies lack 'the human touch'?

It's a strange feeling when I watch his films - the way he constructs the world and uses his camera feels so artificial.

And the characters are so perfectly posed and immaculately dressed, like they're action figures he's manipulating just so.

It's hard for me to become emotionally invested in the stories he tells, as a result of these factors.
