Training Day is fantastic

Just rewatched it again for the first time in over a decade. It's so good. The writing, pacing, acting and story arch is impeccable.

Then I was astounded to see it at 72% on Rotten Tomatoes. I feel if this movie came out last week it would be in the 90s or at least the 80s.

What part of this movie didn't work? Figured I'd vent a bit.
