Watching Troy, man is Hector the most temperate hero in film
Like shit, I get taking Helen with you to Troy. He doesn't want to lose his brother, but everything from that moment onward. Look at all the bullshit he gets put through. His brother doesn't listen to him for love (even though Hector straight up tells him that his Rome bullshit ain't love), then his dad doesn't listen to him cause some dude thought an eagle was an omen.
His brother starts a war, Hector puts up with it. His brother doesn't die like a man, Hector puts up with it. His dad doesn't listen to him even though he's a warrior, Hector puts up with it. Hector fucking gets killed because of how temperate he is.
Like fuck, you go through that whole movie and the ONLY one who doesn't put Hector up for granted before he dies is Briseis.
I mean damn, fuck you Paris and fuck you Priam - you gave that sword to the wrong son.
