LPT: If you're citing 7 or more movies to call a movie's plot a rip-off, it's probably not a rip-off.

If there's like 1 or 2 movies that seem majorly similar to the movie's plot, it's a different matter and sure, it may be too familiar. But otherwise you've just seen an awful lot of movies and are jaded.

I saw a few comments in the past week or two over here that went along the lines of "a rehash of A, B, C, along with a hint of D and E, a whiff of F, a pinch of G, a bit of H and I, and a dash of J", which starts off as a movie review and ends up a recipe for a home remedy.
