Movie you loved when you first saw it but now hate, or vice versa

For me its gotta be American Beauty. When I first saw it I seriously looked at life in a different way for a few weeks. I thought I should be living my life instead of "wasting away", and Lester Burnham was my hero.

When I watch it now I want to gouge my eyes out. It's a giant preachy bullshit mess of a movie with so many unrealistic instances and utterly hateable characters. Every time I watch Ricky cry over a fucking plastic bag I lose it. Is it a bad movie? No, but there is no way in hell I would ever give it Best Picture. I seriously can't believe how I ever loved this movie.
