What was the worst thing about the Hobbit trilogy?

For me, it's how artificial it felt. The actors did a great job, to be sure, but their performances were undermined when they were surrounded by nothing but cgi. It made the entire film look fake. Lord of the Rings felt very raw. The actors were in real environments, battling orcs who were really there. It's a shame, really. The Hobbit films could have been so much better if they took it easy with the CGI. Don't even get me started on the pointless additions to an already good story. And I'm not talking about the Dol Guldur stuff, that's fine. I'm talking about the generic dwarf/elf romance and the jarring focus on Alfrid in BOTFA. Peter Jackson cut out Thorin's funeral, one of the most important scenes in the story, and kept in Alfrid's antics. It's infuriating, really, for a fan of the book.
