Dear Hollywood, Netflix et al: Please continue making sci-fi and space travel shows featuring strong professional characters and realistic behaviour on a space mission. The tropes of "unstable people in space fighting each other" or "supernatural horror murder in space" should be retired.

The Martian (2015 film) portrayed an astronaut team as completely professional. Which movies have not always done. In the Martian, at no point does any of the highly trained crew freak out or have a psychotic break - which often features heavily in previous space and mars movies.

Speaking of which, the National Geographic Channel series "Mars" is absolutely terrible. And it's for this very same stupid plot story. Average thinkers and unstable people making their way into a space colony? Gimme a break. You'd have to be a very brilliant person with skills to get a ticket to live on Mars colony anytime in the next 100 years.
