In all these Christmas movies, where do the parents think the presents come from?

So there are Christmas movies where the kids are questioning the existence of Santa Claus and all that stuff. Then they show the parents saying "omg I can't believe my kid still believes in Santa Claus." So obviously the parents don't believe in Santa. But, in these movies, Santa Claus is very real and he leaves presents under the tree every year, so where do these parents think these presents are coming from? It always bugs me when this happens because do the parents just think that the presents get there randomly?

Are there any movies that answer this question as to why the parents just don't question the appearance of these random gifts?
