Brazil (1985) - directed by Terry Gilliam, a bizarre quasi-Orwellian epic that follows the effects of an authoritarian political landscape and disingenuous social culture on the psyche of a low-ranking government worker. Everyone should see this film—it's just as relevant now as it was in 1985.
