I only now realize that Bob Parr's boss from "The Incredibles" was the only villain to ever truly defeat Mr. Incredible.

Here is the scene I am referring to. Mods, let me know if this kind of link isn't allowed.

In the first act of the movie, Bob is called into his boss's office for some reason. As soon as Bob arrives, his boss starts monologuing. He has an entire prepared speech about some metaphor relating a company and a clock. Bob looks completely bored at this point. He has had villains much more powerful and dangerous than this little man give him prepared speeches, and over much higher stakes than some job. And (we can assume) Bob has always been able to use his wits and his strength to get out of these situations, and use his enemy's hubris against them.

But that isn't what happens here. Instead, when Bob sees the mugging and the stakes in this situation are suddenly raised, his boss manages to break him. This tiny little man, with absolutely no real power, manages to keep Mr. Incredible from saving someone. He is by far the weakest villain Mr. Incredible has ever faced, yet he managed to defeat him just by using a stern voice and tapping his foot impatiently. Bob sees how far he has fallen, which is why he snaps so violently at the end of the scene.

Maybe this is just head-cannon, but I imagine that these are some of the same thoughts that were going through Bob's mind during this whole scene. What do you guys think?
