I watched 197 movies that I haven't seen in 2016, and after careful consideration, **The Fugitive** was my favorite...
I was home sick in December and missed about 5 days of school. As a little cheer me up, my girlfriend bought me The Fugitive on blu-ray, and we watched it together. I gotta say, I was damn impressed with the performance Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones gave in this movie. Though they don't have a lot of screen time together, they work so well off of each other. The action may be few and far between, but its truly about Dr. Kimble trying to clear his name, which is so intriguing. So James Newton Howard did the score, and he did a fine job, so I bought the score on iTunes. The line I quote the most from this movie is, "I DON'T CARE!" Overall, The Fugitive is a cult classic and delivers a fast paced never dull story with an outstanding cast. Hands down the best Harrison Ford performance. 9.8/10
Here were some other considerations I had in mine:
-
Cast Away (2000) Tom Hanks, Helen Hunt, Wilson 9.7/10
-
Goodfellas (1990) Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci 9.6/10
-
Full Metal Jaket (1987) Matthew Modine, Vincent D'Onofrio, R Lee Emery 9.6/10
-
Hell Or High Water (2016) Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine, Ben Foster 9.4/10
-
Memento (2000) Guy Pearce, Carrie-Anne Moss, Joe Pantoliano 9.4/10
