Good WW2 films that aren't completely focused on fighting.
What are your favorites?
A few I can recommend are:
In Darkness - A polish film based around jews hiding in sewers to avoid capture
The Bridge Over The River Kwai - Goes without saying I guess, tells the story of POW's under Japanese occupation.
KATYŃ - The story of the murder of thousands of Polish officers by the Soviet Secret Police.
The Way Back - POW's escape a Russian gulag and trek across Siberia, Mongolia and the Himalayas
Downfall - The story of Hitler's last days in his Fuhrerbunker in Berlin.
Son Of Saul - From the perspective of a Hungarian POW in Auschwitz.
