What minor changes to a mediocre movie would make it a much better movie?

A couple of days ago Nerdwriter uploaded a video essay examining what would happen if you rearranged Passenger's plot, but didn't change much else. Would it become a better movie? Hells yeah!

So which movie that led us to expect great things, but disappointed us all, could be made far better with minor editing and structural changes?

Obviously get rid of Jar Jar Binks, but seriously, what else?
