I watched over half of Angels & Demons (2009) before I realized it wasn't a movie about angels fighting demons, and that I'd mistaken it for Legion (2010).

Like the title says, I was watching Angels & Demons (2009) and I kept waiting for turning point in the plot when the angels and demons come to Earth and start fighting each other, but it never happened.

Finally, I asked my girlfriend "when do the Angels come into the movie?" at which point she burst out laughing and realized that I had confused Angels & Demons for another movie because of the title. After some quick Google-Fu we realized the movie I was thinking of was Legion (2010).

Does anybody else have similar stories of watching a movie with a complete misunderstanding about what you're in for?

For the record, Angels & Demons was a pretty cool movie.
