Tom Hardy playing the role of Jack the Ripper could be as entertaining as Christian Bale in American Psycho.

I know this opinionated but I think Tom Hardy is able to play a wide range and the writers could twist the role for Jack the Ripper however they liked. He could either play the poor/dark style for the Ripper or the aristocrat/doctor approach since not much is known about who Jack the Ripper was. I think a movie like this could be as popular as American Psycho.
