Reading more into Jaws, the first summer blockbuster, I knew that it was the first movie ever (without inflation) to $100 million in box office receipts, but then also became the first movie to reach each of $200 million, $300 million and $400 million, finishing with $470 million. And again this, when no movie had ever made $100 million
