About wonder woman Oscar buzz....

What are they thinking? Wonder Woman was good (a solid 8.5/10) but definitely not Oscar worthy. The movie does not innovate, and that's ok. If anything, it feels like Thor and captain america with a female lead. And as I said, it doesn't need to innovate. It's a solid blockbuster, and that's it. It feels specially unfair, considering that no one is pushing Logan for best performance, or Lego Batman for best animated feature. It's just that the standard for DC films has dropped so much, that wonder woman has been elevated to a masterpiece, something it is not. I just wanted to share my toughts. Sorry if my redaction is lackluster, english is my second language.
