The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988) is the funniest movie that I've ever seen

Good god, finally watched this movie last week and it's great. I've not enjoyed a comedy film like this one. Not seen enough parody comedy movies but this movie was just perfect. Apart from some scenes, they never overdid the parody part. This is entertainment from start to finish. Plot- An incompetent detective tries to foil an assassination attempt in the most hilarious of ways.
