Just realized the title The Truman Show is a play on words

This might already be common knowledge or incredibly obvious but I just realized the deeper meaning of the title, The Truman Show.

Jim Carrey's character, Truman Burbank is the only 'true man' in the movie, everyone else's character is an actor in Truman's life.

I only put it together while watching Jim Carrey’s documentary about Andy Kaufman. The way Jim Carrey was talking about the his character in the Truman Show it all sort of came together and made so much sense.
