The casting of Liam Neeson as Aslan in Chronicles of Narnia, was an excellent choice.

Aslan is arguably the best character in the Narnia series. However, a CGI character required great voice acting to be as effective as was needed in the movies. I feel Neeson nailed the warmth of Aslan, as well as toughness and leadership qualities as much as could be exhibited through voice wirk alone. His performance considerably raises the quality of the first movie.
