Who is the best actor with the worst filmography?

Judging by recent work, I'd have to say Jeremy Irons. I like Jeremy Irons as an actor, but every time I see him in a trailer I can reliably guess that film will be awful. His good films include Die Hard With A Vengeance (not great cinema but definitely a fun actioner), French Lieutenants Woman, Lion King, and that movie he won an Oscar for was probably good.

After that? Eragon, BvS, Dungeons and Dragons, Assassin's Creed, etc. Guy just can't seem to pick good projects, at least with big action films.

F Murray Abraham also comes to mind, though he's found a bit of a revival lately with Coen and Anderson films.
