Edge of Tomorrow has one of the best uses of an end credits song.
Edge of Tomorrow is a superb film, and its awesomeness continues even into the end credits with the use of John Newman's "Love Me Again" song. Other than being a great time travel sci fi movie, Edge of Tomorrow does a good job of building an emotional connection between the two leads. The romance seems a natural result because Cruise has spent countless hours with Blunt's character by the end of the movie, and he deeply cares for her. However, one sad outcome of the defeat of the aliens is that Rita has no memory of Cruise's character. Thus, when Cruise goes to her and is surprised by her response of no memory of him, the film cuts to the credits after a wtf expression from him. The song kicks in and just leaves a bittersweet feeling for the characters. Specifically the line "I need to know now, can you love me again?" resonates quite strongly with what Cruise is feeling at the time.

Any other examples of great use of songs in end credits?
