X-Men: Apocalypse and the Cell Games from Dragon Ball Z had the same ending

So it's late as fuck and I don't even know if anyone will read this, but hey. So, I just finished going through the Cell games saga from Dragon Ball Z and given that I haven't watched that in fifteen years, man, they kill Cell just like the X-Men kill Apocalypse:

• Cell fends off attacks from the Z Fighters, Vegeta and Gohan all at once is just like Apocalypse fending off all the X-Men and the turncoat Horsemen at once.

• Cell, whilst fighting Gohan, creates a giant blue wave of energy that is competing with his opponent's Kame Hame Ha that threatens to envelop his enemies is just like Apocalypse creating a giant red wave of energy that threatens to envelop the X-Men.

• Magneto turning on Apocalypse is just like Vegeta deciding to join the Z Fighters at the end.

• Goku providing Gohan with mental guidance is just like Xavier providing Phoenix with mental guidance.

• Gohan fucking walks into the energy waves and disintegrates Cell just like Phoenix walks in mid air and disintegrates Apocalypse.

I mean, it may all be a coinkydink (forget may, it probably is) but those are a fuckton of similarities.
