Michael Green wrote the screenplays for Logan, Alien: Covenant, Blade Runner 2049 and Murder On The Orient Express, all in 2017. The only movie he ever wrote before that was Green Lantern.

I just saw this after watching Murder on the Orient Express and thought it was quite an interesting fact. I have rarely seen a filmography that hit or miss. While Logan and Blade Runner 2049 are generally considered amazing movies the other ones go from meh to terrible, at least here on reddit.

I think this also just goes to show how small of an influence screenwriters have on the final product. Who knows how many different drafts he wrote for every movie, how many directors gave him notes to change something (looking at you Ridley Scott) and how much changed in the final film compared to what he wrote.

Also funny how hid only work was Green Lantern, then nothing for years and suddenly he's credited for 4 blockbuster movies in a year. Hell of a run.
