The scene in Fellowship of the Ring, where Boromir speaks to Aragorn in Lothlorien...
This is the scene that I'm talking about.
I've seen the films so many times I've actually lost count, and this particular scene always made me admire Sean Bean and his acting skills. It shows us that Boromir isn't a dick as some have said, only that he's desperate for anything that will help his people. The tremble in his voice, those little moments when he looks away and you kinda see the thoughts of his father, responsibilities and his people going through his mind, Sean Bean did a helluva job on portraying Boromir.
And being an older son myself, I felt a deeper connection to Boromir, especially in this scene, his acting was so genuine, I also understand the expectations and responsibilities that my father has for me.
I guess I just wanted to share that even though I've seen the films so many times, this scene struck a deeper note in my mind last night, especially now that I'm older, and that Sean Bean's portrayal was just so perfect. Hats off to you mate!
